Zachary Gresham

Zachary Gresham is an educator and arts administrator and is currently the Education Programs Director at Art League Houston. In this capacity, he oversees community-based studio art classes for adults, a summer studio art intensive for teens, an in-school artist residency program, and a weekly healing art program. He is a lecturer in the College of Education and the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at The University of Houston, where he earned his M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and his MA in Arts Leadership. His research interests focus on artists that blur the distinction between their teaching and art practice and in 2016 organized a group exhibition and accompanying zine on this topic. When not teaching or organizing programs, he plays cello with a Houston-area orchestra and travels as much as possible.
