Greg M. Thomas

Greg M. Thomas is a Professor of art history at The University of Hong Kong (gmthomas@hku.hk). He earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University and taught at Purdue University before moving to Hong Kong U. in 1999. While trained primarily in 19^th-century French art, he has long explored art of multiple cultural traditions and recent research has focused on European engagements with China in the 18^thand 19^thcenturies.
