Alexis Clark
Alexis Clark received her PhD in Art History and Visual Studies from Duke University. She is now a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis, where she teaches classes on world Impressionism, museum history, and nineteenth-century art. Clark’s research concentrates on intersections between exhibitions, cultural politics, and narratologies of modern art; these interests inform her manuscript currently under preparation and entitled The Musée du Luxembourg and the Making of Modern Art History, 1870-1937.
