Beverly Taflinger
Beverly Taflinger is a classically trained singer and a student of musicology. Both as a performer and researcher she specializes in European art music of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Her particular research interests include the role of women in music making, historically informed performance of nineteenth century repertoire, and Scandinavian art song. Ms. Taflinger is driven to the study of collegiate pedagogy by her desire to meaningfully connect students to music history. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Interdisciplinary Studies for Fort Lewis College and a Master of Music from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Musicology with a supporting area in Vocal Performance at the University of Oregon.
