Michelle Millar Fisher

Michelle Millar Fisher (author) is a co-founder of Art History Teaching Resources (AHTR) and a PhD Candidate in Art History at the CUNY Graduate Center. She’s been a part-time faculty member at Parsons The New School for Design and an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College. From summer 2019, she is the Ronald C. and Anita L. Curator of Contemporary Decorative Arts at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She was previously the Louis C. Madeira IV Assistant Curator of European Decorative Arts and Design at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and a curatorial assistant in the Architecture & Design department at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, where she co-organized such exhibits as Design and Violence and This Is for Everyone: Design Experiments for the Common GoodShe first came to New York to work at the Guggenheim Museum, where she developed her love of all things art and pedagogical.
